Belize, a small but captivating jewel tucked into Central America, invites you to discover its diverse landscapes, vibrant cultures, and the laid-back charm that defines its character.

A melting pot of cultures, Belize proudly embraces its rich heritage. Influences from Mayan, Creole, Garifuna, Mestizo, and Mennonite communities create a cultural tapestry that comes alive through traditional dances, music, art, and mouthwatering cuisine. The warmth of the Belizean people adds an extra layer of hospitality to the experience.

Where will this take place
We will spend our adventure on the Eco-luxe BEACHFRONT Resort of Matachica on the island of Ambergris Caye in Belize

Matachica Resort:
Location: Matachica Resort is situated on the northern part of Ambergris Caye, a stunning island off the coast of Belize. The resort is known for its exclusive and intimate setting, offering a secluded escape while still being accessible to the lively town of San Pedro.

Accommodations: The resort typically offers a range of accommodations, including luxurious thatched-roof casitas or villas. These accommodations often feature a blend of tropical and contemporary designs, with private balconies or verandas that provide stunning views of the Caribbean Sea or lush gardens.

Weather: It will be tropical and sunny season in Belize with perfectly sunny weather each day in January. Temperatures will range from 70 degrees in the morning up to 85 degrees in the afternoons.

Who may attend? All are welcome to join this retreat. Yoga classes will be all levels and daily outings will consist of walks, local outings and relaxation.

Other Details: ENGLISH is the official language in Belize, while English is mostly only spoken in hotels and restaurants. The official currency of Belize is the Belize Dollar, abbreviated as BZD or represented by the symbol "$" or "BZ$".. Major credit cards are accepted in larger establishments and ATM machines are available.

Yoga classes will be a mix of vinyasa and also restorative & relaxing flows.
Morning meditations will offer the opportunity to start each day in a peaceful way
All tours and travel arrangements once in country of arrival
Breakfast and dinner , except for one night out
All entry fees to all museums and activities
Your retreat fee includes transportation once you arrive in Belize, two meals a day, yoga, meditation and the activities scheduled including those listed above

Fluid Yoga® Travel & Retreat Waiver Form

In consideration of my enrollment as a student of Fluid Yoga Retreats , I represent and agree to the following:

1. Your booking is not considered definite and no contract will exist until we receive the initial deposit from you and you agree to the below terms and conditions. Said deposit ranges from $250-$750 depending on location.

2. I understand that participation in all “Yoga Retreat” activities could involve risk of physical injury, illness, death or property loss, and despite safety precautions, that Fluid Yoga cannot guarantee safety thereof, as all risks cannot be prevented. Fluid Yoga, does not provide health and accident insurance for trip participants, and I understand that any medical expenses, property loss, or other personal expenditures that result during or from this travel/trip, are to be borne by the participant. I also hereby consent, give authorization to, and release from liability; trip leaders to secure any emergency medical treatment in event I am unable to, and I agree to be responsible for the costs thereof.

3. In consideration of the opportunity afforded, with full knowledge and acceptance of the risks associated with this trip and any recreational activities noted within; and with full understanding of the above issues/conditions and risks, I hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless Fluid Yoga, teachers and staff from all form and manner of risks inherent in, and from all claims, suits and demands of any nature arising from participation in said trip, or activities.

4. I understand that all travel arrangements are my own responsibility and at my own cost. Fluid Yoga shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from delays or cancellations in any of the companies through which arrangements have been made, or for any irregularities in documentation required for travel.

5. CANCELLATION POLICY – Your trip is non-refundable, however in some circumstances, a portion of your payment may be used as future credit for another Fluid Yoga Retreat as outlined below. We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early. We reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel a retreat. If our minimum number of guests is not reached by the start date we may cancel retreat and refund the money to you.

a. Cancel more than 90 days before retreat, deposit will be forfeited and any other paid portions my be applied to another Fluid Yoga Retreat

b. Cancel 60-89 days before retreat, deposit will be forfeited and 50% paid portions my be applied to another Fluid Yoga Retreat

c. Cancel 30-59 days before retreat, deposit will be forfeited and 25% paid portions my be applied to another Fluid Yoga Retreat

d. Cancel 30 days or less before retreat, your entire payment will be forfeited.
