Practice with Kevan: A Journey into Your Yoga Practice
Join Kevan Gale in this immersive online class where he offers a window into his personal yoga practice. Experience the Fluid Yoga pyramid of postures guided by Kevan's encouraging voice, where he invites you to embrace the learning process alongside him. Kevan's aim is to inspire self-trust and encourage you to uncover insights from your own practice as you flow together.
While predominantly an online experience, Kevan actively instructs and practices alongside you. There will be occasional opportunities to join Kevan in-studio as he practices and leads online participants. Be sure to check the schedule regularly if you're interested in joining the in studio sessions.
FLUID YOGA
In this Fluid Yoga class, we will dynamically link the flowing nature of the breath with mindful, continual movement and creative sequencing. This heat-building vinyasa flow will not only increase strength and flexibility, but also train the mind to be more content and relaxed throughout the most difficult challenges on and off the mat.
Using the classical elements as inspiration, we will become grounded and refine our balance with the earth, explore flowing movement and grace in the manner of water, ignite fire within our bodies through core strengthening and detoxification, and empower the air flowing within us through breath control and mind training. All classes end with a guided savasana, to embrace our space element and rejuvenate the spirit. The ultimate goal is for students to leave class feeling peaceful, powerful and full of bliss.
Come prepared with an open mind and mindful approach. These classes are ALL LEVELS
Kevan Gale
Mindfulness, yoga, and nature have been integral to Kevan Gale's life journey. Over 15 years ago, Kevan had the fortune of meeting his current teacher, Khenpo Lama Migmar, the Buddhist Chaplain at Harvard University. This encounter led Kevan to leave his consulting career and fully dedicate himself to yoga, mindfulness, and Buddhist teachings.Kevan now owns Fluid Yoga and Stil Studio in Dedham, MA, where he shares his expertise in yoga and mindfulness practices. Expanding his reach, Kevan also teaches mindfulness at Northeastern University. There, he collaborates with Dr. Dudley to develop and broaden the range of offerings available to mindfulness students.Through his work, Kevan continues to blend his passion for mindfulness, yoga, and nature, making these practices accessible to a wider audience and fostering personal growth and well-being in his community.
